Free Facebook Access For Airtel Users

India's top telecom company by network is now providing exciting offer for all of its customers. Bharti Airtel would provide free Facebook access of up to 500 MB data per month for its pre-paid users till February 15. Airtel pre-paid mobile users can post status messages, upload a photo and do everything else on their favourite social network at no charge. Beyond free usage external links will be charged as per prevailing rates.

So again Airtel has come up with a plan that would make most of the users to switch to Airtel if they were looking for any new operators. Moreover the telecom company is known for its best Network throughout the country. Facebook being the world's best and top Social Networking site, its a good opportunity for all users to make use of it.

The Aircel has removed all its towers and removed all the services for Visakhapatnam. But Aircel was the only telecom which was giving the best unlimited 3G plans, its my personal opinion no offence.... But we would like Airtel and others to provide such good offers instead of giving only free facebook for a month.

With this Airtel will continue to gain more and more of its users and will be the India's top telecom operator and even World's top telecom operator.

But still 4G have better offers even cheaper than 3G.....Don't believe then check it out here.

Airtels best 3G Plans for sharing between 3 devices

Bharti Airtel has announced a new data plan that allows the subscriber to share one plan with two more devices. With Airtel's Data Share Plan, a subscriber can share 3G data up to 5GB with a recharge of Rs. 1,000, which is valid for 30 days. The plan can be shared with other Airtel numbers (prepaid and postpaid) only, but they have to be in the same circle.

To use the new Airtel data share plan, subscribers can go to www.airtel.in/datashare or SMS “DATA SHARE ADD mobile number” to add phone numbers with which they want to share the data. Airtel has put up an infographic explaining how its Data Share Plan works, and you can check it out below:

Airtel's new data share plan is quite similar to Reliance's recent 'All Share Postpaid Plan'. RCom's plan, available for all GSM and CDMA postpaid customers, allowed users to share usages with three connections at a single rental of Rs. 1,497.
The All Share Postpaid Plan - only for 3 members or 3 connections - wherein the members can share 3,000 mins of local / STD voice calls, 3,000 local / national SMS along with 3GB of 3G data per month and free calling amongst the family or group members on this plan. Along with this, all the members would also get the benefit of unlimited free local calls within the group. Find out more about the RCom's plan here.

Six major Indian companies, including Bharti Airtel, Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), have made the cut in list of 20 'Most In Demand Employers' compiled by professional network LinkedIn.

Wipro Technologies, HCL Technologies and Mahindra Satyam have also found a place in the list, which is topped by Accenture.

The professional network said in India, telecom player Bharti Airtel is the seventh most sought-after company among professionals on LinkedIn.

This was followed by Infosys at eighth spot and TCS at the ninth place.

Wipro Technologies was 11th, followed by HCL Technologies in the 13th and Mahindra Satyam in the 14th place.

LinkedIn analysed a large number of companies and published the list among its 175 million members.

"The three companies of Indian origin that feature in the top 10 list of most InDemand employers... are testimony to the increased importance of developing and maintaining employer brand by Indian corporates," it said.

Among others in the top five are Hewlett Packard, Oracle, IBM and Microsoft.

Cognizant Technology Solutions, Vodafone, Deloitte, Amazon, Adobe, Cisco are the others featuring in the list.

Indian Telecom Company's in Global Top 20

Four Indian telecom companies were listed among the top 20 global companies based on the subscriber base but all four are at bottom for revenue based.

Bharti Airtel was ranked 4th and Rcom 8th and Idea cellular 14th and last but not the least BSNL at 20th position.

Telecom major Bharti Airtel is the fourth largest mobile operator in the world with over 250 million connnections globally, according to analyst firm Wireless Intelligence.

China Mobile continues to be at the top spot with 683.08 million connections, followed by Vodafone Group (386.88 million) and America Movil Group (251.83 million).

Bharti Airtel (250.04) and Telefonica Group (243.51) are at fourth and fifth position, respectively, Wireless Intelligence said in its 'Mobile operator worldwide group global ranking by connections (Q2, 2012)'

Besides China Unicom (which is at the sixth position), the report said Bharti Airtel is the only other member of the top ten to move up the ranking, recording a 13 per cent year-on-year rise in connections to overtake Telefonica.

Bharti Airtel had become the fifth largest mobile operator in the world following its acquisition of Zain Group's mobile operations across 15 African nations in June 2010, the operator said in a statement.

It, however, added that Bharti's mobile revenue at USD 3.04 billion in the second quarter of FY12 is significantly lower than the other operators in the top five, "reflecting Bharti's presence in the ultra low-cost, low-margin Indian and African markets."

The other Indian telecom operators in the report are Reliance Communications, Idea Cellular and BSNL at eigth, fourteenth and twentieth position, respectively, with 154.60mn,117.16mn and 98.28mn subscriber respectively.

While Reliance Communications has maintained its global ranking, Idea Cellular has moved up three places. State-run BSNL's ranking dropped by two places.

Telenor and Sistema foreign firms with a subsidiary in India were at the ninth and fifteenth position, respectively.
