Recognize Stress using Smartphone

In this growing technical world everything is on our finger tips. The smartphones especially are making the world to relax and is not letting them work. But simultaneously it is making us advanced in each field.

Smartphones may soon be able to tell you where you come across the most stress with the help of a new software that has been developed to identify stress from the patterns in your voice.

Stress Sense is first trained to recognise a person's unstressed voice.

To do so, the users must relax and read a 3-minute passage from a book into their phones.

The system then compares this recording to its pre-programmed knowledge of the physiological changes that stress induces like speaking at a faster rate and a clipped frequency spectrum.

It then takes note of any instances of stress it detects in the voice.

"Our stress model also adapts to different background noise environments," New Scientist quoted Hong Lu of Intel in Santa Clara, California, who developed the system, as saying.

In tests that included putting volunteers through mock job interviews, the researchers found their prototype's stress-recognition accuracy to be 81 percent indoors and 76 percent outdoors, where sound quality wasn't as good.

The team plans to make the system a plug-in to an Android application called BeWell, which uses a phone's accelerometers and GPS sensors to record users' activity and sleep levels.

Smartphone users will be able to set StressSense to either listen to their voice throughout the day, or only to activate when they are having a phone conversation.

The app will be presented at the Ubicomp conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, next month.

So guys gear up for your new smartphone app, and make your life easy and advanced.

Rating For All Games !!!!

When rating matters.....

We see many groups of children’s and adults talking about the games. Some people play games on PC, PSP and some on Xbox, etc. We also gift some games to our brother, sister and friends but did you understand the effect of the game on that person? Did you check its rating before buying it? Is it good for that person?
These are some questions which should come in your mind and the solution is rating. This is where the rating matters. Each game CD’s and DVD’s has rating symbols on the disk. It lets you know the type of content in the game.

          Love- A Uncrossable Barrier

I know that you all would be wondering why have I posted this post in my technically blog????

The reason is that I love writing but I like you all because you are the one reading my blog, so thanks for that and so both of these words are totally different. Does it make sense????

Even the great great poets like William Shakespeare was not sure about this topic. So how  could you think that i can explain this topic but still I managed to express what i felt...

Love and Like are having a lot of similarities lets see them....

LOVE : The word contains 'OV' in the middle and the rest is same as the word LIKE.
LIKE : It contains 'IK' in the middle and the rest is same as the word LOVE.

So when someone say's that he like's you it means that he is OK with you and when someone says that he loves you it means that he has crossed the OV (zero potential barrier) and his impedance now matches with yours.

In front of the person you love, your heart beats faster
But in front of the person you like , you get happy.

In front of the person you love, winter seems like spring
But in front of the person you like, winter is just a beautiful winter.

If you look into the eyes of the one you love, you blush
But if you look into the eyes of the one you like, you smile.

In front of the person you love, you can' t say everything on your mind
But in front of the person you like, you can.

In front of the person you love, you tend to get shy
But in front of the person you like, you can show your ownself.

Then person you love comes into your mind every 2 minutes.
You can't look straight into the eyes of the one you love
But you can always smile into the eyes of the one you like.

When the one you love is crying, you cry with them
But when the one you like is crying, you end up comforting.

The feeling of love starts from the eye
And the feeling of like starts from the ear.

So if you stop liking a person you used to like
All you need to do is cover your ears,
But if you try to close your eyes

Love turns into a drop of tear and remains in your heart forever after.

So this is all about Love and Like. I guess you all loved your childhood days but you like your friends.

          Paper-Powered Battery

CAN A PAPER PRODUCE ELECTRICITY????  Think a while and then read.

Ya I am talking about a paper power technology. Do you believe that a paper can produce electricity, if not then read this article you will get to know….

I was really amazed after listening that Sony recently demonstrated a new battery technology in Japan, which uses waste paper to generate electricity. It is a type of Bio-Battery; it converts waste paper into sugar, which is used as a fuel to generate electricity. The current prototype battery is powerful enough to run basic music players, and in time, will be able to run mobile phones as well. The question of how to package it, with its liquid contents, remains unanswered however.

Sony’s bio-battery is also considered environmentally friendly as it doesn’t use any harmful chemicals. A prototype of the paper-powered battery was shown off at the Eco-Products exhibition in Tokyo, last week. Attendees were asked to drop a piece of paper or cardboard into the liquid (made up of water and the enzyme cellulase), and then shake it. A few minutes later, the battery powered up a small fan.

Breaking down the paper with the enzyme into glucose sugar, the battery then combines the sugar with oxygen as well as other enzymes, converting it to hydrogen ions, water, gluconolactone acid, and electrons – producing electricity. A large part of the process can be likened to how termites break down wood to produce sugar, and energy.

"Using a 'fuel' as simple as old greetings cards - the sort of cards that millions of us will be receiving this Christmas - the bio battery can deliver enough energy to power a small fan. Of course, this is still at the very early stages of its development, but when you imagine the possibilities that this technology could deliver, it becomes very exciting indeed."

So now you all should not waste paper and similar products instead you should think about this technology before throwing a paper away. If you get such technology comment what will you do?

If you have any such innovative ideas you can post a comment and I will help you go your way.

Alert for Wi-Fi users in India

Wi-Fi users in India are more vulnerable to virus attack

          Wi-Fi Attacked

Now a days we have seen several attacks by the Anonymous hacker on several websites and daily their is certain news related to hackers, we must be aware that in India Wi-Fi is most vulnerable to such attacks.

          Password Hack

Even Indian computer security analysis firm warns India for such attacks. According to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), the virus attacks through Wi-Fi could lead to crashing and even hacking of the secure networks. The firm has discovered that the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) has a design error, which increases risks of virus attacks and may allow attackers to take unauthorised control of the affected system. The error can also help attackers crack and stealthily enter into an encrypted and password protected system.

“The virus is streaming in the Indian Internet networks with a high severity. The combat mechanisms are being deployed,” a computer security analyst with a government agency said. “An unauthenticated, remote attacker within range of the wireless access point could use the PIN (password) to gain unauthorised access to the device to retrieve the password for the wireless network or change the configuration of the device. Failed attempts to exploit the vulnerability could lead to a denial of service condition,” the CERT-In said in its alert to Wi-Fi users.

The agency also pointed out its reports that revealed several WPS devices do not feature any kind of lockout policy for such attack attempts. Users in India mostly use the WPS method to set up a wireless router for home network. The WPS procedure requires a PIN that can be used during the setup phase. Issuing an advisory to the Wi-Fi users, analysts of CERT-In said that users should disable the external registrar feature of the WPS to protect their device from virus attacks.

"So we all must be aware of it and try to make our Wi-Fi connection more secure.Lets see weather we can make our connections secure or we will also come in some news for being hacked by Anonymous hackers or for some virus attack."

          World's Fastest Internet Connection

According to you Whats the speed of worlds fastest internet connection.????

Its 1Gbps Which has been obtained by using the Google fibers and includes more than 100 networks and costs $120 a month for a package of TV, 1 Gbps Internet speed and 1 terabyte of cloud storage.

Google has introduced its Google Fibre service in Kansas City, Missouri. The Internet giant claims it to be the world's fastest Internet connection offering download speeds of one gigabit per second(GbPS). Presently, this is the fastest speed available anywhere in this planet. Google Fibre uses optical fibre technology and includes more than 100 networks and costs $120 a month for a package of TV, 1 Gbps Internet speed and 1 terabyte of cloud storage.

For the Internet-only package, customers have to pay $70 a month. The installation charges are $300, according to Google executives. The Daily Mail reported that Google is also looking forward to introduce the service to other cities in the near future. “Access is the next frontier that needs to be opened, we’re going to do it profitably. That is our plan,” Google chief financial officer, Patrick Pichette, said in The Hindu Business Line report.

Still we see that obtaining such high speed is really great and you will be easily able to download a movie or almost anything on just a click. So all the best and enjoy the speed.

          Foldable Batteries: its Amazing

Have you ever heard or thought that we can have a foldable smartphones in future.????

          NO......

In this greatest technologically advanced world nothing is impossible. So now the world will be able to see the Foldable smartphones, lets see how and give you a brief specifications of the Smartphone..

This all is possible only because of the high-performance flexible battery that can be folded, twisted. You have already heard about flexible displays, printed circuits, memory and even chargers. But scientists have now created a flexible battery that can be folded, bent and distorted in a host of different ways. These batteries promise thinner and lighter 'foldable' electronics including smartphones, tablets and e-book readers that could be flexible and hold more capacity. Yes, you read that right! You could roll up these devices for easy storage in your pocket.

A team of researchers at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) is behind the new flexible solid-state battery. This rechargeable lithium-ion battery (LIB) retains its energy level even when folded, spindled, or mildly mutilated. It is actually printed on a thin film. Applying battery material to rollable displays has been a major cause for concern for the gadget manufacturers thus far. But it seems like this breakthrough is likely to change the way we think about surfaces and screens.

Professor Lee from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, KAIST said, "The advent of a high-performance flexible thin film battery will accelerate the development of next-generation fully flexible electronic systems in combination with existing flexible components such as display, memory, and LED."

The research team is currently investigating a laser lift-off technology to facilitate the mass production of flexible LIBs and 3D stacking structures to enhance charge density of batteries.

I have previously talked about a bendable Smart TV, which can be folded and so lets see in future what all will be there in folded forms...... and if you know about such other devices please let us know.

          The Mystery Planet Mars

The Red planet Mars is always been a mystery for all the scientist in NASA.

This planet is in observation since a long time but still NASA is not confident enough to say whether life can exist there or not. Lord Rees of Ludlow said the US space agency's mission to determine whether the Red Planet could have supported life was the first step in accessing Earth's nearest neighbor. He said the exploration project could mark the start of the "post-human era" despite the risks associated with traveling into the solar system.

"But I believe, and hope, that some people living now will walk on Mars. Moreover, a century or two from now, small groups of intrepid adventurers may be living there or perhaps on asteroids quite independently from Earth."After the successful mission of curiosity rover.

Lord Rees predicted a "dramatic cultural and technological evolution" on the planet and beyond as scientists learn more about Mars.
Nasa's car-sized robot has the capacity to take samples and record the composition of rocks as well as carry out tests to establish the elements that make up the landscape.
Announcing the success of the mission, Charles Bolden, Nasa administrator, said it would "blaze a trail for human footprints on Mars".

"Where would this generation be without the space programme? People wouldn't be watching the Olympics on the other side of the world,"

"And, of course, there is the hope that Curiosity will find the answer to that philosophical question – are we alone in the universe?"

So we have to wait for some more years for this mystery to be solved..........

          Propeller Clock-An Amazing Illusion

It was great to see a propeller clock circuit and its working. The great use of chips display the illusion of a clock in air with LEDs.

A motor spins the "propeller", and a small microprocessor keeps track of time and changes the pattern on seven LEDs with exact timing to simulate a 7 by 30 array of LEDs. It is an illusion, but it works nicely.

Books that Generate Money in Your Dreams

TOP BOOKS WHICH ARE STRANGE DIFFERENT AND MOTIVATING

If you are free and you don't know what to do then i will suggest you to go through any one or more books out of these ten books which i had briefly described below.

First time when i heard about these books,.. i was traveling to Bangalore(India) in train. I was going to meet my brother but this time i was amazed by two kind of personalities sitting beside me. One was young and other was aged  and experienced person, then we had a good conversation between us. The experienced person(aged one) told me about these 10 different books. These books are read by many peoples, great and common citizens and many told that 'yes these books are different, they will change your life style'. Let me make it clear that the number allocated to the book is having no relation with the book priority, its for general sorting order.

          They are:

1."See you at the top"- By Zig Ziglar

This book is totally different as said by many persons and the book itself says the same. The book begins with "THE END", as i said you,.... its different book,.... in 'feel', 'subject matter' and 'technique'.

4."Rich dad, poor dad"- By Robert T. Kiyosaki, Sharon L. Lechter

What the rich teach their kids about money that the poor and middle class do not!.

Personal-finance author and lecturer Robert Kiyosaki developed his unique economic perspective through exposure to a pair of disparate influences: his own highly educated but fiscally unstable father, and the multimillionaire eighth-grade dropout father of his closest friend. The lifelong monetary problems experienced by his "poor dad" (whose weekly paychecks, while respectable, were never quite sufficient to meet family needs) pounded home the counterpoint communicated by his "rich dad" (that "the poor and the middle class work for money," but "the rich have money work for them"). Taking that message to heart, Kiyosaki was able to retire at 47. Rich Dad, Poor Dad, written with consultant and CPA Sharon L. Lechter, lays out his the philosophy behind his relationship with money. Although Kiyosaki can take a frustratingly long time to make his points, his book nonetheless compellingly advocates for the type of "financial literacy" that's never taught in schools.

5."The Power of Positive Thinking"- By Dr. Norman Vincent Peale

I doesn't think the book need any description as the name of the book suggest its about positive thinking.

9."Think and Grow Rich, Original 1937 Classic Edition" By- Napoleon Hill

What genius lies asleep in your brain? This is the question asked of us by Napoleon Hill. Originally published in 1937, and selling more than 60 million copies worldwide, Hill's Think and Grow Rich is the classic motivational book. Inspired by Andrew Carnegie, Hill studied the work and lives of some of the most successful people of the Industrial Era including Ford, Wrigley, Eastman, Rockefeller, Edison, Woolworth, Burbank, Morgan, and Firestone as well as three United States Presidents. From his 20 plus years of research into the characteristics of what launched these individuals into greatness and wealth, Hill developed his 13 universal principles, meant to inspire any individual to a richer, fuller life. The true genius of his writing is the simple way in which he explains that wealth comes from seeing your goal in your mind and making it happen, no matter what.
